  Be sure to visit our Story Walk!  Follow a lightship’s human crew (and their cat) as they make the ocean safe so other ships can sail.  A Story Walk is a fun, interactive way to enjoy reading while spending time outside.  Our Story Walk is located around the Lightship Overfalls in Lewes Canal Front Park

Learn about the history of sailing and the history of sailing in the Delaware bay. Board beautiful yachts that compete in local and open ocean races. Meet top sailors in the state, including one of the most impressive female sailors in the country. The Lewes Yacht Club will bring one of their small training sailboats

      Knots are used for sailing, rock climbing, camping, trucking, boating, fishing, surgery, decorating and many more different activities. They can be made from a variety of different materials such as rope, cord, twine, yarn, and thread. Participants will each receive a 3’ piece of sailboat line to learn knots and to take
