Meet The Dirty Hands Gang—our dedicated crew of volunteers who work behind the scenes all year long to keep this historic lightship looking her best and ready to welcome visitors.

From repairing broken portholes and building new benches for guests and volunteers to painting, planning, restoring, and tackling countless maintenance projects, these men and women are the heart of the Overfalls. Their hard work, skill, and commitment help preserve one of Lewes’ most iconic landmarks for future generations.

Quite simply, without them, the Overfalls wouldn’t be the ship she is today.
