Scholarships

The Overfalls Foundation awards two $2,500 scholarships to deserving Sussex County High School Seniors who, upon graduation, pursue a college degree in the study of maritime sciences.  This includes all fields related to the sea.  Examples include, but are not limited to, commercial and military seaborne travel, navigation, seaborne shipping and commerce, ship design and construction, maritime law, and ocean environmental studies. Applicants will be judged on academic achievement, leadership, character, and service – with special consideration given to those who have volunteered with the Overfalls Foundation.
